The Ruiru Rehabilitation Center is always looking for donations because it relies entirely on fundraising to run the center and provide for its children.
Board members, companies, small local businesses, faith and non-faith based social organizations, universities, schools, and individual donors account for those who provide for the center all year.
We are always looking for funds, in-kind donations, or pro-bono services.

Volunteer
Students, professionals, locals, and expats - everyone can make a difference!
The center welcomes local and international volunteers all year long. Volunteers support projects or programs run by the center, contributing their skills and knowledge to improve the center’s facilities and services, and also to children eager to learn from them.
Our children greatly enjoy having volunteers around because this is a unique opportunity for them to experience meaningful exchanges and build new friendships that can inspire and motivate them.
Volunteer at the Ruiru Rehabilitation Center!
Stop by for a day, or stay with us for a week, or even a few months. The center will provide accommodation and will help you manage your stay to optimize your experience and make it memorable for everyone.
There are always great needs to be met at the center. Tell us what you are interested in, what your background is, and we’ll try to match that to our needs.
Need some ideas?
Teach staff and kids new skills, tutor, play with the children, fix the roof, paint a mural, grow a garden, plant trees, cook…. Or dance!
